Vestry met pursuant to Notice given in the Church on
Sunday last
Present
The Church Wardens
Overseers of the Poor
and other Ancient Inhabitants
Proceeded to take into Consideration the rechoosing the
several persons who enjoy places of Emolument in this
Parish pursuant to the sd. Notice and Resolved to adjourn
into the said Church in Order to Elect a Vestry Clerk Organist
Sexton and Vestry keeper of this Parish for the year ensuing
Adjourned into the Church accordingly and proceeded upon
the above Business when the Order of the fourth day of August
last and the Notice of the second day of this instant October
being both now read the Question was put by Mr. Seager the
upper Church warden whether Mr. Pitman the present Vestry
Clerk should be continued in the said Office for the Year ensuing
or be discharged from the same it was carried in the Negative
Nemine Contradicente And thereupon the said Mr. Seager
declared the said Office vacant & Mr. Edmd. Combe< no role >

Jennings Mr. Peter Side botham and Mr. Thomas Wright< no role >
having
having then preferred their sevl. Petitions to be Elected to the said
Office of Vestry Clerk of this Parish for the year ensuing and the
said Petitions being publickly read Mr. Seger the Upper [..]
Churchwarden proceeded to the Election by the holding up of
hands and the Question being put on behalf of each of the Candidate
Mr. Seager declared that the Majority of hands was in favour of
Mr. Jennings and that he was thereupon duly Elected
