The Inspector of Lamps were Sworn to the
Returns which were Read.

In. Pursuance of the Statute this Committee m [..]
made and signed a Rate or Assessment of Eight
Pence in the Pound throughout the whole Parish
and District under this Committees Jurisdiction from
Lady day last for One Year then next ensuing
And an Additional Rate on the Optional Streets [..]
Places called Arundel, Surrey , Blackmore Clare
Stanhope Vere and Peter Streets at 6d in th Pound
On Cecil and Holiwell Streets at Nine Pounce Butcher
Row at Ten Pence Wych Street thirteen Pence and
Norfolk Street at three Pence in the Pound
