Ordered that the same be done and that Mr. Higley give notice to Mr. Carpue
or Mr. Roberts when the same is done

Mr. Windle attending and requesting to have the Foot Pavement altered
from the late Mr. Chambers Brewhouse to near Tweezers Alley Ordered that
Mr. Stichall and Mr. Jones be requested to view and Report at the next meeting

Several of the Inhabitants of Plough Court attending and requesting a
Lamp therein to be removed about six foot Ordered that this Committee recommend
the same to the Commissioners at Westminster to be removed.

Mr. Nixon Inspector being Sworn returns that two Stones wants to be
relayed in Great Shire Lane three Ditto in Holles Street a New stone wanted in Clare
Markett by the first Markett House and another by Essex House Ordered
that the same be done.

Ordered that Mr. Meredith have notice that this Committee expects
he immediately finishes the Paving Strand Lane and that he attend the next
meeting

Ordered that the Commissioners at Westminster be requested to give
this Committee leave to advertize for a Contract for Repairing so much of the
Strand as lies in this Parish with the best Guernsey Granite of not less than
Nine Inches deep for the Term of 21. or 31 Years in which Contract the
Contractor is not to lay down any of the Old Materials which is not of Six
Inches Deep

Westminster Bridge Office
Janry 24th. 1775.

Minutes of the Committee for the Parish of St. Clement Danes dated
the 20th. Instant and delivered in this day were Read containing a Request to
Advertise for a Contract for repairing so much of the Strand as lies in that
Parish with the best Guernsey Granite of not less than nine Inches deep
for 21 or 31. Years in which Contract the Contractor is not to lay down any of
the old Materials which are not of six Inches deep.

Ordered That the said Committee be at Liberty to Advertise and

Contract in manner above requested.
