Ordered, That the several Committees be acquainted that the Commissioners
observe with Concern that in general the Streets & Places, in the respective Parishes are not properly
cleansed & Lighted. They therefore recommend it to the Committees to cause the respective [..]
Contractors for the above Articles duly to perform their Contracts. The Commissioners also
recommend to the Committees to Cause the Lamps in their respective Parishes to be Number'd
A General Account of the Expences of the Commission from Lady Day
1773 to Lady Day 1774 was this day delivered in by the Accomptant, by which it
appears that the proportion thereof to be borne by the Parish of St. Clements
Dane is
£59..19s..9d. And I am directed by the Commissioners to acquaint You thereof
And to request that you do cause a Certificate or Allowance for Payment of the same
to be transmitted to the Accomptant within fourteen days agreeable to the Act.

The Commrs. order to the 22d. Novr. last relative to the Want of a Post under
the Arch of Essex Street
being read Ordered that a Post be Erected in order to
prevent the Carriages backing under the Arch.
Mr. Davis the Builder of some New Houses in Ship Yard attending and
desiring leave to take up some Pavement to make a Drain Ordered the Mr. Davis
have leave to do so under the Inspection of the Committees Inspector and the
same to be done at his own Expence
