Clement Danes
At a meeting of the Committee for Paving Elected and appointed
pursuant to an Act of Parliament in the Vestry Room of Saint
Clement Danes the 15th. October 1773 .

Proposed and Agreed that Mr. Vaughan take the Chair.

The Minutes of the last meeting read and confirmed.

The Clerk having laid before this Committee a Bill from Peter Balchen and
Company for Lighting Lamps on the Subsisting Contract in the Strand Etc from
Midsummer to Michaelmas last amounting to £36:11s:3d Ordered that the same
be transmitted to the Commissioners for Payment out of Monies for Repairing Cleansing
and Lighting for which purpose this Committee signed the same.

Also a Bill from Messrs. Raine and Horobin for Lighting the Lamps
from Midsummer to Michaelmas last (Except these under subsisting Contracts
and Optional Streets) amounting to £85:16s:0d. being read Ordered that the same
be transmitted to the Commrs: for Payment out of Monies received for Repairing Cleansing
and Lighting for which purpose this Committee Signed the same

Also a Bill from Alexander Anderson< no role > amounting to £40. for Cleaning
this Parish (Except the Streets Paved under the Optional Clause) from Midsummer
to Michaelmas last Ordered that the same be transmitted to the Commissioners
for Payment out of Monies received for Repairing Cleansing and Lighting and for that
purpose this Committee Signed the same.

This Committee Signed a Certificate of half a Years Salary due to their sevt.
Officers at Michaelmas last amounting to £32:10s. agreeable to the Committees Resolution
of the 19th. Febry. last.

Ordered that the Sum of Two hundred and fifty pounds be paid into the
Bank to the Account of the Commrs: for Paving Westminster Etc. for Repairing Cleansing
and Lighting for which purpose Mr. Kennett and Mr. Ireland be desired to draw on the
Banker.

Adjourned to a Dew Summons.
