The Parish of St. Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex

Whereas Mr.Whitaker of the said
Parish of St. Clement Danes Taylor hath made it his Request
unto us the present Church wardens of the sd. Parish that he
might have one Seat for his Wife in the Pew No. (1) on the
South Side of the Middle Isle in the said Parish Church Desiring
that the Sum of One pound & One Shilling might be accepted
as a Consideration for the same to be bestowed as seems most
for the Benefitt of the said Parish Now We the sd. Church
wardens do for the Consideration aforesd. Grant unto the said

Whitaker one Seat in the Pew abovementioned on
during his Residence in the said Parish he Discharging alt,
Parochial Dutys Witness our hands the 25th. Day of March
1745
