to wit Elizabeth Gurney< no role > aged about 36 years upon
her Oath saith that on the 17th. day of June 1786 she
was delivered of a Female Bastard Child at the House
of a Mr. Wade the corner of New Inn Passage in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes which hath since been
Christened by the Name of Ann< no role > and that on the 15th.
day of Decr . last past she was delivered of a
Male Bastard Child at the House of a Mr. White
in Wych Street in the said Parish which hath since
been Christened by the Name of Michael< no role > That one
Michael Murphy< no role > a Boot and Shoemaker who lately
worked with Mr. Cleane in Clare Street and is at
present at Bath is the father thereof he having
had Carnal knowledge of this Examinants
Body and begotten the said Two Children thereon
and that the said Michael Murphy< no role > is the only
real and true father thereof
