to wit

Ann Beath< no role > aged about 28 years upon her
Oath saith that in the year 1779 she intermarried with John
Beath
< no role > her present Husband at the Parish Church of Saint Leonard Shoreditch who is at present in the East
Indies that he Sailed from London in the Month of February
1785 since which time she has not seen her said Husband that
he served his time as an Apprentice to a Mr. Howell in Surrey
Street in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County
of Middlesex Taylor that after he was out of his said Appceship
he never did any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement
And further this Examinant upon her Oath saith that
on the 30th. day of June now last past she was delivered of
a Male Bastard Child in the Workhouse belonging to the
said Parish of Saint Clement Danes That one Joseph
Hipsley
< no role > by Trade a Bookbinder who lives at Bridge North
at Bombardoes Barbados is the father thereof he having had
carnal knowledge of this Examinants Body sometime
in the Month of October last and at several times
since at one of which times she did beget the said Child
of which she was so delivered as aforesaid and that
the said Joseph Hipsley< no role > is the only real and true
father thereof
