Saint Clement Danes

to wit Sarah Bennett< no role > aged about 27 years upon
her Oath saith that she never was married that she
lived as a hired yearly Servant with a Mr. Joseph
Walker
< no role > a Land waiter [..] in Dean Street Borough in
the Parish of Saint
for 5 years and upwards at the yearly Wages of £6
that she hath quitted said Service about 5 years since
which time she hath done No Act to gain a Subsequent
Settlement And further this Examinant upon her
Oath saith that on the 31st. day of March 1784 she was
delivered of a Male Bastard Child at the House of a
Mr. Robinson in New Inn Passage in the Parish of
Saint Clement Danes which hath since been
Christened by the Name of Joseph< no role > That the above
named Joseph Walker< no role > who now lives in the City
Road is the father thereof he having had Carnal
knowledge of this Examinants Body and begotten
the same thereon and that the said Joseph Walker< no role >
is the only Real and true father thereof
