Saint Clement Danes

Middlesex

to wit Winifred Avern< no role > aged about 21 years
upon her Oath saith that she never was married
that her Father Rented and lived in a House in the
Strand in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes for 9
years or thereabouts at the yearly Rent of £10 and
upwards that he quitted said House about 9 years
since which time he never did any Act to gain a
subsequent Settlement And further this Examt.
upon her Voluntary Oath saith that she is pregnant
with Child or Children which is or are likely to be
born a Bastard or Bastards and to become
Chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Clement
Danes That one James Collins< no role > a Journeyman
Taylor who did live in Water Lane Fleet Street
is the Father thereof he having had Carnal
knowledge of this Examinants Body and
begotten the same thereon and that the said
James Collins< no role > is the only Real and true
father thereof
