Saint Clement Danes

Martha Pitt< no role > aged 29 or thereabouts
upon her Voluntary Oath saith that
she is Pregnant with a Child or Children
which is or are likely to be born a
Bastard or Bastards and to become
chargeable to the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes she being a
Single Woman never Married and
poor and unable to Maintain
the same when born And Further
upon her Voluntary Oath Saith
That James White< no role > , late Servant
to Mr. Dn Merrick at Mrs. Blands
Norfolk Street , had Carnal
knowledge of this Examinant
sometime in the Month of
March-last and at Several
Times since at one of which
times he did beget the Child
or Children of which she is so
Pregnant-And saith That he hath
lived at Mrs. Blands upwds of
12 Months last past as a hired
Yearly Servant.
