to wit Mary Bell< no role > aged about 28 years upon
her Oath saith That she never was married
Rented House Tent. or Lodging of £10 a year or
Paid Taxes that she lived as a hired yearly Servant with
one Mrs. Cole in Whitecross Street in the Parish of
St. Luke Old Street in the County of Middx for 4
years or thereabouts at the yearly Wages of £5
that she left it about 12 Months ago and went back
again in the Month of Novr. last and has continued there ever since And
further this Ext. upon her Oath saith that on the 10th
day of Octr. last past she was delivered of a Female
Bastard Child at the House of a Mrs. Evans in
Goldens Buildings in the Parish of Saint Clement
Danes which hath since been Christened by the
Name of Charlotte< no role > That one Martin Hurdes< no role > a
Journeyman Hatter [..] who works for one Mr
Christie a Hatter in White Hart Court Lambard
Street and lodges at one Mrs. Tills a Coak Shop in
Petticoat Lane is the father thereof he having had
Carnal knowledge of this Exts. Body sometime in
the Month of Decr. 1785 and at sevl. times since at
one of which times he did beget the said Child of
which she was so delivered as aforesaid And that
the said Martin Hurdes (and no one else) is the Real
and true father thereof
