to wit Mary Leat< no role > aged about 19 Years
upon her Oath saith that she never was
married Rented any House Tenement or Lodging
of Ten Pounds a year Paid Taxes lived as a hired
yearly Servant for Twelve Months That her father
Andrew Leat< no role > Rented and lived in a house at
the back of Saint Clements in the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes in the County of Middx for about
Twelve Months at the yearly Rent of £20 And
this Deponent upon her Voluntary Oath saith that
she this Deponent is Pregnant with Child or
Children which is or are likely to be born a
Bastard or Bastards and to become Chargeable
to the said Parish of Saint Clement Danes That
one Thomas Oakley< no role > an Apprentice to Mr.
Benwell a Sadler at No. 4 Bartholomew Lane
is the only real and true father thereof he
having had carnal knowledge of this Examts
Body sometime in or about the Month of Decr
last and at several times since at one of which
times he did beget the said Child or Children
of which she is now Pregnant and that he
and no other Person did beget the same and
that he is the Real and true father thereof
