(to wit) Penelope Meller< no role > aged 24 years & upwards singlewoman
Upon Oath saith that she never was Married that
she lived as an hired yearly Servant with Mr.
Graham in Arundel Street in the parish of St.
Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex for One
year and six Months or thereabouts at the
annual Wages of Ten pounds that she has quitted that
service on the Morning of this the said 9th. day of
September 1794 that And this Examinant upon
her voluntary Oath further saith that she is now
pregnant with a Child or Children which is or
are likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards
and to become chargeable to the said parish of St.
Clement Danes when born that John Mushatt< no role >
Esquire who lately lodged at the said Mr. Graham's
is the only real true father thereof he having first
had carnal connection of this Deponent's Body and
begotten the same thereon and that he and no
other person is the only real true father thereof
