(to wit) Martha Bevon< no role > aged Twenty two
Years Upon Oath saith that she never was
married that she lived as an hired Yearly Servant
with John Scott< no role > of West [..] Smithfield in the Parish of Saint Sepulchre as an hired Yearly Servant
upwards of Twenty two Months at the Annual
Wages of Six Pounds for the first Year and
Seven Pounds or thereabouts for the remainder
of the Time, she quitted that Service about
Three Years ago, and hath never since done
any Act matter or thing whatsoever whereby
to obtain any subsequent legal settlement
to the best of this Deponent knowledge
information or belief And this Deponent
further saith that on or about the 26th
Day of October 1792 at Mr Bambers No 3. Hemlock Court in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes she
was delivered of a Female Bastard
Child which hath since been Baptized
Martha Bevon< no role > that George Scott< no role > of
West Smithfield in the Parish of Saint
Sepulchre aforesaid is the only real
and true Father of the said Child
which she was delivered of as aforesaid
he having had carnal knowledge of
this Deponents Body sometime in the
Month of February in the Year last
aforesaid at which Time he did
begett the said Child on her Body
