Saint Clement Danes

Westminster }

to wit Elizabeth Alderson< no role > aged about 52
years upon her Oath saith that she Intermarried
with John Alderson< no role > her late Husband who has
been dead about Eight years at the Parish Church
of Saint James Westmr . That her said late
Husband Rented and lived in a house in Drury
Lane in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the
Liberty of Westminster for Eighteen Years or
thereabouts at the yearly rent of Forty Pounds
and upwards and paid Taxes due for the same
that her said late Husband died in the said house
And this Deponent further upon her Oath saith
that since her said late Husbands Decease she
hath not rented any House Tenement or Lodging
of Ten Pounds a Year or any unfurnished Place
at the Weekly rent of Four Shillings or upwards
Paid Taxes lived as a hired Yearly Servant for
Twelve Months or done any Act Matter or
thing whereby to the best of this Examinants
knowledge Information or belief she might have
gained a subsequent settlement
