to wit Elizabeth Goodall< no role > Aged about Thirty Years on her
Oath Says she never was married nor ever Rented House
or Paid Taxes Says she lived a hired Yearly Servant
with Mr. Thos. Latter< no role > a Staymaker in the Precinct of
the Savoy in the Dutchy Liberty of Lancaster upwards
of Three Years and an half at the Yearly Wages of Seven
Pounds hath quitted her said Service about Eight
Months ago & hath not since she quitted the same done
any Act whereby to gain a Subsequent Settlement And
further upon her Oath Says that on the 13th. day of Decr.
last past she was delivered of a Female Bastard Child
in the House of Mr. Berry a Pawnbroker in Wych Street
in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the Liberty of
Westmr. which hath since been baptized Elizabeth< no role > and
that John Hooton< no role > late a Partner with Mr. Geeves a
Wine Merchant near Craven buildings in the Strand is
the true and real Father of the said Female Bastard Child
of which she was delivered as aforesaid.
