Magdalen Mackenzie< no role > aged about 25
Years Lodging in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in
the Liberty of Westminster and County of Middx Upon
her Voluntary Oath Says she was Born in Scotland
that she never was Married was an apprentice or
hired Servant for one year That she was on the
Second day of this instant November 1761 Delivered
of a Male Bastard Child at the House of Mr. Watson
Watchmaker near Temple Bar in the aforesaid
Parish of Saint Clement Danes (which has not yet
been Baptized) and that the Same is yet living and
likely to become Chargeable to the said parish of St.
Clement Danes she being Poor and unable to
Maintain the Same And that Dougal Mackenly< no role >
a Carpenter who lodges at an Alehouse known by
the Sign of the Man in the Moon at whitechapel
did beget such Male Bastard Child he having had
carnal Knowledge of her Body in or about the Month of
February last and at several times since at one of
which times he did beget on her Body the Child she
was Delivered of as aforesaid
