The Examination of Jane Ealing< no role > Singlewoman
living in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the
County of Middx aged forty three Years taken the
30th. Day of January 1740 Who upon her Oath
saith that she lived about two Years ago as a yearly
hired Servant with her brother James Ealing< no role > in
Devereux Court in the said Parish of St. Clement
Danes Cabinet Maker for the Space of one Year at
the Yearly Wages of five Pounds & further on her
Oath saith that She hath not since that Time
rented ten Pounds a Year paid Parish Taxes
lived with any other Person as a yearly hired
Servant for the Space of one Year or otherwise
gained a Settlement in any other Place to her
knowledge or beleife & now being Poor & Sick is not
able to maintaine herselfe
