The Examination of Elizth Tarver< no role > lodging in the
Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx
taken the 24th- Day of Decr. 1740 Who upon her
Oath saith that abt. 26 Years ago she lived a Yearly
hired Servt . with one Mrs. Allcon in Arundle Street
in the sd. Parish of St. Clemt- Danes for the Space of
2 Years & upwards at the Yearly Wages of £5. & further
on her Oath saith yt. since that times She never rented £10 a Year pd.
Parish Taxes lived with any other Person as a Yearly
hired Servt. for the Space of one Yr. or otherwise gain'd
a Settlemt. in any other Place to her knowledge or
beleife & being Poor is not able to maintaine herselfe
