The Examination of Elizth. Jackson< no role > the Wife of Thos
Jackson Lodging in the Parish of St. Clemt. Danes in
the County of Middx taken the 8th. Day of Augt. 1740
Who upon her Oath saith yt. about 10 Years ago her sd.
Husband lived in & rented a House in Fleet Street
in the Parish of St. Dunstan in the West London
for the space of 4 years or thereabouts of the yearly Rent
of £65, And this Examint. further saith yt. her said
Husband Thos. Jackson< no role > hath not since he left the sd.
House Rented any other House paid Parish Taxes
lived with any Person as a Yearly hired Servt. for
the space of one Year or otherwise gained a
Settlemt. in any other Place to her knowledge or
beleife that he is now a Marine in his Majesty's
Service And she haveing one Child (to wit) Jno.< no role > aged
7 Years & upwards & being Poor is not able to maintaine herselfe
& Child
