The Examination of Ann Clements< no role > the Wife of Paul Clements< no role >
Lodging in St. Clemt. Danes in the County of Middx
taken the 5th. Day of June 1740 Who upon her Oath
saith that in the Month of [..] Janry. 1739 She Intermarryed
with the above Named Paul Clements & yt. he the sd.
Paul Clements Served three Months the latter Part
of his Apprentishipp with one Wm. Watts< no role > Esqr . in Pater
Noster Row in the Parish of St. Faith under St. Paul London
And this Examinant further upon her Oath saith That
her sd. [..] Husband hath not since he left his said
Master's Service Rented £10 a Year Paid Parish Taxes
lived with any Person as a Yearly hired Servt. for the
space of one Year or otherwise gained a Settlement
in any other Place to her knowledge or beleife That
her sd. Husband is now on Board his Majesty's Ship
the Grafton & she being Poor & Sick is not able to
maintaine herselfe
