Sarah Shillem< no role > aged abt. 41 years Upon Oath says
she is the Widow of Matthias Shillem< no role > who has been dead
abt. Ten Years and that her said late husband Rented a house
in Peter Street in the Parish of St. Clement Danes in the
Liberty of Westmr. and County of Middlesex of the yearly
Rent of £18 for several Years and lived therein till he
died says she has not since her said husbands death
Rented Ten pounds a year or paid Parish Taxes And that
about 7 years ago she lived a hired yearly Servant with
Thos. Leigh< no role > Esqr . in Sheet Street in the Parish of Windsor
in Berkshire for One Year and Received £7 Wages for
that Years Service but had at that time a Child living
(Vizt.) Wm< no role > : aged then upwards of Nine Years who at that
time had never been an Apprentice or yearly Servant
And further upon her Voluntary Oath says she is pregnant
with Child or Children which is likely to be born a Bastard or
Bastards and to become chargeable to the said Parish of St. Clemt.
Danes she being poor & unable to Maintain the same when born
And that Wm. Joes< no role > Esqr. who lives at Warfield in Windsor forest had
carnal knowledge of her Body in the beginning of December 1759.
[..] at [..] which times he get her with Child
of the Child or Childn. with which she is now pregnant and that no
other person did beget the same.
