years on his Oath says he never was
married Rented House or paid Taxes ever lived as
a hired yearly Servant for one year or ever served [..]
any Apprenticeship Says he was born in upper Thames
Street in the parish of Saint Bennetts were his
Father and Mother kept House for Eighteen years and paid all Taxes for the same
and that his Father died in the said House since
which time he has done no Act Matter or thing
whereby to the best of his Knowledge Information or
belief he may have gained a Settlement elsewhere
