George Clark< no role > aged 55 years or thereabouts upon his Oath
Saith That he intermarried about 35 years ago at the Parish
Church of Bewdley in Worcestershire to Sarah< no role > his late Wife That she departed
this Life about 2 years ago. That he had Issue by her 13
Children [..] Two of whom have not gained Settlements
Vizt. James< no role > aged 16 (and Samuel< no role > aged 14 who is now with
this deponent Ill) Saith That he kept a House in little
Catherine Street , in the Parish of Saint Martin in the
Fields , that the Rent thereof was £16. a year & he resided in
it 3 Quarters of a year That he Quitted the same at
8 years ago That since that Time he has done no
Act whatever whereby he may have gained a
Settlement And Saith That his Son Samuel< no role > (who is
now with him Sick) was sent to Sea by the Marine
Society and never has gained or Acquired any Settlement
as he verily believes
