thereabouts upon his Oath says he was bound an
Apprentice to Mr. Nathl. Cross< no role > of Aldermanbury in the Parish
of Saint Mary Aldermanbury in the City of London Musical
Instrument maker under an Indenture of Apprenticeship
for Seven years says he served five years and upwards and
then had his Indentures given up to him by the Order of [..] the Lord Mayor That
he quitted his said Master about Forty Seven years ago
since which time he has done no Act Matter or thing
Whereby to the best of his knowledge Information or belief
he may have gained a Settlement elsewhere
