Jane Morrell< no role > aged 46 or thereabouts upon her Oath
Saith That she was born at Philips Norton in Wiltshire
That her Father was born in the same Parish and
resided there till his Death, That her Grandfather belonged
to the said Parish, That she Married one Stephen
Morrell
< no role > (a Native of Ireland ) who came to Rent as
Journeyman with her Father, That the said Stephen
Morrell
< no role > came to London and this Examinant with
him That the said Stephen Morrell Never Rented
Ten pounds a year, paid Taxes, Served any
Parish Office or did any other Act Matter or
Thing whereby he might have gained a Settlement
in this Kingdom as this deponent Believes And
that he departed this Life about Fifteen years ago.
And this deponent hath not done any Thing since
his Decease whereby She may have gained
a Settlement, And this Examinant Saith that
[..] She has not Intermarried since but
was on the 19t. day of January 1777 delivered of
a Male Bastard Child who was Christened Wilham
Holloman
< no role > at Mr. Malyns the Apple Tree in Cursiter
Street in the Liberty of the Rolls And that Stephen
Holloman
< no role > of Bear Yard in the Parish of Saint
Clement Danes Journeyman Bricklayer
is the Father of the said Child.
