to wit Maria Oliver< no role > Aged about twenty Years
on her Oath says she never was married Rented
House or paid Taxes or ever lived a hired Yearly
Servant for one Year Says her Father rented and
lived in a House in Drury Lane in the Parish of St.
Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr . for sevl. Years at the Yearly
Rent of £40s. a Year and paid all Parish Taxes due
for the same and were her said Father Died which
is about five Years ago Since which time this Examinant
hath gained no other subsequent Settlemt. And furr.
on her Voluntary Oath says she is pregnant with
Child or Children which is or are likely to be born a
Bastard or Bastards and to become chargeable to the
said Parish of St. Clement Danes she being poor &
unable to maintain the same when born Says that
one Robert Mabberley< no role > a Herald painter in Long
Acre is the Father thereof he having had Carnal
Knowledge of her Body sometime in the Month of
April last was twelvemonth but the particular Day
she does not now remember and at sevl. difft. times
afterwards at one of which times he got her with
Child of the Child or Children of which she is now
pregnant as afsd. and that the said Robt. Mabberley< no role >
and no other person did beget the same and that he
is the real & true Father thereof.
