Years on her Oath says she never was married
Rented House or paid Taxes says she lived a hired
Yearly Servant with the Revd. Mr. White adjoining
to Bridewell in the precinct of Bridewell London upwards
of four Years at the Yearly Wages of Ten pounds hath
quitted her said Service about Three Months ago since which
time she hath gained no other subsequent Settlement And
further upon her Voluntary Oath Says that on the Seconed
day of August last she was delivered of a Male Bastard
Child in the House of Roger Rock< no role > in Bear Yard in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westmr .
which hath since been baptized by the name of Thomas< no role >
and is become Chargable to the said Parish she being poor
and unable to maintain the same And that one Michael
Boyd< no role > a Footman to her said late Master and who now
lives with one Doctr. Warren at Hammersmith in the same
Capacity is the Father thereof he having had Carnal
Knowledge of her Body in her said Masters House near
Bridewell aforesaid on the fifth day of November 1775
and at sevl. different times afterwards at one of which times
he got her with Child of the Male Bastard Child of which
she was so delivered as aforesaid and that the said Michael
Boyd< no role > and no other person did beget the same and that he is
the real and true Father thereof.
