Sarah Griffiths< no role > Aged about Twenty five Years on her
Oath Says she never was Married Rented House or paid
Taxes Says she lived a hired Yearly Servant with one
Humphry Sandforth< no role > Esqr . at the Isle in the Parish of Saint
Shadds in the County of Salop hath quitted her said Service
upwards of four Years ago since which time she hath
gained no other Subsequent Settlement And further on her
Voluntary Oath Says that on the 17th. day of June last she
was delivered of a Male Bastard Child in the Workhouse
belonging to the Parish of Saint Clement Danes which has
since been baptized by the Name of William< no role > and is now
Chargable to the said Parish Says that one William
Robinson
< no role > who lately lived with one Mr. Mountain in
Woodstreet and who now kept a publick House at Old
Buckingham in Norfolk (as she has been Informed and
verily believes) is the Father thereof he having had Carnal
knowledge of her Body sometime in the Month of October
last but the particular Days or times she does not now
remember and at sevl. diferent times afterwards at one of
which times he got her with Child of the Male Bastard Child
of which she was so delivered as aforesaid And that the said
Wm. Robinson< no role > & no other person did beget the same and that
he is the real and true Father thereof
