Ann Miles< no role > Aged about Twenty five years on
her Oath Says she never was married Rented
House or paid Taxes Says she lived a hired yearly
Servant with one Mr. Jackson a Linnen Draper at
Bassingstoke in the County of Hants upwards of One year
at the yearly Wages of Three pounds hath quitted her said
Service upwards of Three years ago since which time she
hath never Gained any or Subsequent Settlement And further
upon her Voluntary Oath says she is pregnant wth Child
or Children which is or are likely to be born a Bastard or Bastards &
to become Chargable to the said Parish of St. Clement Danes
she being poor and unable to maintain the same when
born Says that one Joseph Sutton Blood< no role > a Hair dresser
at No.12 in Princes Street Lothbury is the Father thereof he
having had Carnal Knowledge of her Body at her
Lodgings in Brewers Street St. James some time in April
last past but the particular day she does not now remember and at Sevl. different times afterwards at one of
which times he got her with Child of the Child or Children
of which she is now pregnant and that the sd Joseph
Sutton Blood
< no role > and no other person did beget the same &
that he is the real and true Father thereof
