to wit Margaret Mair< no role > Aged about Seventy Years on her
Oath says she is the Widow of James Mair< no role > who has been dead
about Six Years ago and by whom she hath no Children now
living says her said late Husband Rented and lived in
a House Called or known by the sign or name of the White
Hart , Opposite Surry Street in the Strand in the Parish of
Saint Clement Danes in the County of Middlesex for Two
Years and a half at the Yearly Rent of Thirty Pounds [..]
and paid all parish Taxes due for the same and Quitted
the same in the Year 1763 and after Quitting the same
he never after Rented house paid Taxes or did any other
Act whereby to gain a Subsequent Settlement neither has
this Examinant since her said Husband Death.
