Elizth. Mason< no role > Aged about Twenty Six Years on the
Oath Says she never was Married Rented House or
paid Taxes Says she lived a hired Yearly Servant with
one Mr. Wellington at the White Heart in Clements Lane
in the Parish of St. Clement Danes for one Year and Ten
Months at the Yearly Wages of five pounds hath quitted
her said Service the Seventeen Instant and hath not since
gained any Subsequent Settlement And further upon
Voluntary Oath says she is pregnant with Child or
Children Which is or are likely to be born a Bastard
or Bastards and to become chargable to the said Parish
of St. Clement Danes she being Poor and Unable to
maintain the same when born Says that one William
Davis
< no role > a Tanner and who now keeps a Publick House
at Iseland in the Parish Iseland in the County of Hereford
& about four Miles from Leomister had Carnal knowledge
of her Body in her said Masters House in Clements Lane
aforesaid some time in the Month of July last but the
particular Day she does not remember and at sevl. different
times afterwards at one of which times he got her with
Child of the Child or Children of which she is now pregnant
and that the said William Davis< no role > and no other person
did beget the same and that he is the real and true
Father thereof
