to wit John Mercer< no role > Aged about Thirty Eight Years on his
Oath Says he Intermarried with Frances< no role > his Wife at
St. Leonards Shoreditch in the County of Middlesex about
Sixteen Years ago and by whom he hath four Children
Namely John< no role > Aged about fourteen Years Mary< no role > Aged
about five Years & Samuel< no role > & Rebecca< no role > Twins Aged about
fifteen Months Says that since the time of the
Churchwardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of Saint Mary Le Cheap London acknowledging this
Examinant to be a Parishoner legally Settled in the
sd Parish of St. Mary Le Cheap he never Rented
Rented House or lived a hired Yearly Servant before
Marriage neither has he done any other Act since
Marriage whereby to gain a Subsequent Settlement
