Golossa Gough< no role > aged about Twenty five Years on her
Oath Says she never was married Rented House paid
Taxes or lived a hired Yearly Servant for one Year says she
was bound an apprentice by the Governors of the Foundling
Hospital to one Mrs. Price a Black Pudden maker in the
Parish of St. James's Clerkenwell in the County of Middlesex
& served her upwards of One Year & an half and was afterward
turned over to one Job seal< no role > a Baker in Houghton Street in the
Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the Liberty of Westminster
and Served him for about Seven Years and then left her said
Master since which time she never lived a hired Yearly Se [..]
for one Year or otherwise gained any Subsequent Settlement
and further Says [..] that on the 21st. day of July last she
was delivered of a Female Bastard Child in the Workhouse
belonging to this Parish which hath since been Baptized by
the Name of Elizabeth< no role > and that One William Westbrook< no role > a
Soldier belonging to the Coldstream Regiment now quarter
in the Tower is the Father thereof he having har carnal
Knowledge of her Body some time in the Month of September
last in her late Masters House and at sevl. different times
afterwards at one of which times he got her with Child of the
Female Bastard Child of which she was so delivered as afore [..]
and that the said William Westbrook< no role > and no other Person did
beget the same and that he is the real & true Father thereof
