Westmr.

to wit Thomas Clayton< no role > aged about forty five Years
on his Oath Says he is now a Widower and that no
Children living Says that before his Intermarriage
with his late Wife and whilst he was a Singleman
he lived as a hired Yearly Servant with one Mr. Cripps
a Goldsmith in Saint James Street in the Parish
of Saint George Hanover Square in the County of
Middlesex upwards of One Year and Three Quarters
at the Yearly Wages of Nine Pounds for the first
Year and Ten Pounds for the last Year hath
quitted his said service upwards of Twenty four Years
ago and hath not since he quitted the same ever
Rented House paid Taxes or done any other Act
whereby to gain a Subsequent Settlement
