to wit Sarah Cossham< no role > Aged about Twenty
Years on behalf of Anna Maria Humphrys< no role > an Infant
Aged about Eight Weeks (whose Mother is Lately dead
and the Father Thomas Humphrys< no role > gone and deserted
it) on her Oath Says that the said Thomas Humphrys< no role >
Intermarried with Susanna< no role > his late Wife at the
Parish of Stonehouse in the County of Gloucester
about Thirteen Years ago and by whom he hath
Two Children now living Vizt. Thomas< no role > Aged about
Nine Years now Provided for and the above Anna
Maria Humphrys
< no role > Aged about Eight Weeks Says that the
said Thomas Humphrys< no role > Rented and lived in a
House known by the Sign of the Two Pumps in Old
Street in the Parish of Saint Luke in the County
of Middlesex upwards of half a Year at the Yearly
Rent of Twenty Pounds but whether he ever paid
any Rent or Taxes this Examinant Cannot set
forth hath quitted the said House upwds. of twelve
Months ago and hath not since he quitted the
same ever Rented House Paid Taxes or done any
other Act whereby to gain a Subsequent Settlement
