to wit Mary Matthews< no role > aged about 40 years upon
her Oath saith that she Intermarried with Thomas
Matthews
< no role > her late Husband at the Parish Church of
St. Olave Southwark upwards of 16 years ago and who
has been dead about Seven weeks Saith that she has three
Children living by her said Husband vizt. John< no role > aged 11 years
and upwards Edwd< no role > . aged about 10 years who is Provided
for and Mary< no role > aged 2 years or thereabouts Saith that
her said Husband never Rented any House Tenement or
Lodging of Ten Pounds a year or paid Taxes that he
this Exts. husband being a Singleman and without
Child or Children he went to live as a hired yearly Servt
with one George Madewell< no role > a Glass cutter in the Strand
in the Parish of Saint Clement Danes in the County of
Middlesex for two years and upwards at the yearly
Wages of £10 - to the best of this Examts. Knowledge that her said Husband hath
Quitted that Service about Nineteen years ago
Since which time her said Husband has done no
Matter or thing whereby to the best of her
Knowledge he might have gained any other
Settlement and that She is Poor and unable to
Maintain [..] herself
