Middlesex

(to wit) James Tall< no role > aged thirty five Years
or thereabouts upon his Oath saith That
he was married to Deborah< no role > his now Wife at the
Parish Church of Saint Mary Matsellor otherwise
Whitechapel in the County of Middlesex in the
Month of July about fifteen Years ago, that he
has five Children now living (by his said Wife)
Vizt. James< no role > aged fourteen or thereabouts, who has
never gained any Settlement in his own Right and is
now with this Examinant Deborah< no role > aged thirteen
or thereabouts who has never acquired any Settlement
in her own Right but is now in Place [..] With
a Person in Newcastle Court Butcher Row John< no role >
aged Nine Years or thereabouts, who has not gained
any Settlement in his own Right and now lives
with this Examinant, Margaret< no role > aged Six
Years or thereabouts, and Sarah< no role > aged four
Years or thereabouts. And this Examinant
further Saith that he rented and lived in
a House in Petticoat Lane in the Parish of Saint
Mary Matsellor otherwise Whitechapel at the Yearly
Rent of ten Pounds for between three and four
Years, that he quitted the said House about Eight
