Mary Phillips< no role > aged 27 Years or thereabouts upon
her Oath saith That she never was Married
Rented a House or paid Taxes ever lived as an
hired yearly Servant or ever was bound
apprentice or ever did any Act to the best of
her Knowledge whereby she may have gained a
Settlmt. in her own Right. And further this
Examinant when her Oath saith That her father
William Phillips< no role > and Mary her Mother Mary
Phillips
< no role > were at this Examinant is informed
believes Married at the Parish Church of Saint
Bride Fleet Street in the City of London about 40
Years ago that she this Examinant was born in
Exeter strand in the Parish of Saint Paul [..] Covent
Garden and her said Father was bound by
Indenture of Apprenticeship to Thos. Jeffery's< no role > of
Kirby Street Hatton Garden in the Parish of
Saint Andrew Holborn below the Bars in the
City of London for seven Years that he served
the whole of his said Tenn with his said Master
since which time her said [..] Father hath not
done any Act to the best of this Examinants
Knowledge or belief to gain any Subsequent Settlemt.
