Majesty's Coroner for the said
City and Liberty touching the
death of John Crofts< no role > then and
there lying dead as follow
to Wit.

John Cooper< no role > a Private in first Regimt. of Gu [..] ds
Lering sworn deposeth that abst. 7 o'Clock this
Morning as he was coming along York Street
he saw two men picked up the Dec [..] ared men a Watchmen
the Foot Path & they said he was kr [..] nk and
he placed him against the Wall and he lynr
to think he was dead and de pot a hight
and examined him and perceived me Sign
of hipe in him, and one Gillat Watchouse
and two others conveyed him to the Infirmary
and left him there Cooper
