1798 in the Parish of St. Margt .
before Anthony Gell< no role > his
Majesty's Coroner for the
said City & Liberty touching
the Death of Edward
Lamport Swaby

there lying dead, as follow
to wit.

Jacob Crook< no role > of Peter Street Westmr . Tinman
being sworn deposeth that between 5 & 6 on
Monday Eveng. last (the 1st. Jany instant)
as he was coming from Worth by the House
Guards, he percined the deceads lying on the
Foot Path with his Head against the Wall
and thought he was in a fit as he could not
speak, whereupon he raised him up and set
him in the Corner and this Deponent apisted by
another Man brought him to St. Margarets
Workhouse and it their Way they called at
a Doctors in King Street who told them he was
dead, and when they delivered him to the
Marker
