taken this 12th. day of May 1797 in
the Parish of St. Martin in the
Fields at the Dwelling House of
John Cuttle< no role > the Sign of the Knags
Head in Orange Court Castle Street
Leicester Fields , before Anthony
Gell
< no role > his Majesty's Coroner for
the said City and Liberty touching
the Death of Thomas Futell< no role > [..]
and there lying dead as follow
to wit.

Thomas Carpenter< no role > wine Porter to Mr. Butcher of
Castle Street Leicester Fields Wine Merchant
being sworn deposeth that about half past seven
o'Clock on Wednesday Evening (the 10th. Instant
this Deponent being in the Nags head Yard Whitcomb Street
the Bromley Stage Coachman drove the Stage Coach as
usual into the said Yard and this Deponent observed
[..] deceased on the Coach box with the Coachman and
he laid his head back against the side of the Coach
and begged to be taken off the Coach box and said he
had lost the use of all his Limbs and he never found him [..] whereupon this
Deponent took him down from the Coach Box and
set him down with this Back against the Wall
[..] and then went and told his wife who lodged in
Orange
