this Deponent expressed great dissatis
faction and after general Applications,
by Mr. Jacksons Direction met Mr.
Ross (Mr. Jackson's Clerk) to overlook
them about the 20th. of March last
Mr. Jackson came home at 3 o'Clock
onthatday, but the manner in which
Mr. Jackson discovered upon the
Business, was so confused & [..] incoherent
that if this Deponent had known how
to have done it he would have taken
the business out of his hands.
that on 31st. of March last this Depont
called again upon the deceased about
3 o'Clock in the Afternoon and told
him that something must be done as the
Tenanty were very much dissatisfied at
not having their houses he said he
could not help it, he did not know
he could not tell, upon which this
Deponent asked him if the houses had been
re-stamped which he had before told him
must be done, and [..] I don't
know
know what you mean by re-stamp'd
Mr. Jackson (said this Deponent) you must
take Care that the business is properly
done, you told me it was necessary that
they should be re-stamped, he then said
it should be the begining of next Week
and threw his hands about in a
strange and extraordinary manner
and from their Circumstances and what
has since happen'd to him this Depont.
is firmly of Opinion that he was
deranged in his mind, These Circumstances
happening so late as last Friday this
Deponent chose to come as he thought
it right and necessary to give this
Evidence to the Coroner and Jury.
