the deceased was at times delirious and
disordered in her mind that on Christmas day
last this Deponent went to the deceased
Room Door which was fastned withinside
and told deceased she had brought her
something to eat from her Niece Fish
and desired her to open the door but she
said she was laid down and was very
poorly and could not get up whereupon
this Deponent went down Stairs and
told Mrs Nash that she could not get into
the Room for the reason above mentioned
and Mrs Nash told her to make himself
easy as the deceased was taken proper
Care of and should want for not thing for
which this deponent expressed her thanks
& she did not call there any subsequent time afterwards nor did she hear any
and the Sup [..]
thing more of the deceased until Friday morning last when Mrs
Nash came and informed her of the death
of the deceased upon which this Deponent
went with Mr Fish and his Daughter to
to the Apartments of the deceased and upon
entering the Room she turned down the Bed
Cloathes when she was quite shocked and
observed that the [..] her hands seemed to be
a cross and a Piece of green Bays over
then and then String tied around her Waist and also she believes there was a
string tried round the Green Bays which
she untied but was so frightened that
she cannot take upon her to say that
the string fastned or went round both
Hands but that there was also a Flannel
round the other hand where upon they
sent for the Sun [..] who came and
did [..] what was necessary - on the
Occasion That the deceased had some time ago 3 new
Shifts two Gowns and a Petticoat Etc given to her but
said 3 Shifts (no any other Shifts) were found nor even
a Sheet.
