taken this 13 of Augst. 1796
at the Dwelling House of Mr. Walkin the Sign of ye
Constitution in Bedford Sheet Parish of St. Pauls
Covent Garden

being sworn, Saith, that he [..] with the Guest
abt. 16 Months. that the decd. has who Livd. with her
a sent. of [..] abt. 2 Months he knew nothg her
prior Wthert time. that Yesterday after noon his
Mistress not being able to find the decd dnr w this
Dept. to go down Stairs with her & get the tea Kittle,
when they got down Stair this Dept. was the decd.
on he propoced standing agst. apllow in a Kitch [..]
we. was not in use he went unto the other
Kitchen this Dept. did not sten there Lewent
up Stairs, his Mistress & Staid in the Kitchen
but she came up in less that 5 Minutes
they both then went down agn. & into the front
Kitchen or where [..] the sered [..] was this Dept then saw
that the decd. was having with a rope livd about
her Neck & the othr. end abt. Triller in the Kitchen
the was then quite dead four same time fact
