Informations of Witnesses
taken this 28th. day of August
1793 at the House of William Carter< no role > Sign of the
Crown and Apple Tree Parish of St. James Westmr
touching the Death of Jane Pitt< no role > then & there
lying dead

Emelia Gordon< no role > being Sworn saith that she has
lived at No 73 Inn [..] in Berwick Street near or twelve
MonthsThat the deced has livd. there [..]
abot 6 in the Capacity of a Servt . to Mrs Antrim
Neal
< no role > she has been very much addicted to
drinkingthat Yesterday she was also
intoxicatedthe deced [..] ed this Dept
to drink with he last Night between 9 & 10
O' Clock but she refused & replied she thought
she had had enoughthis Dpt. then left
the Deced & retired why Chawke & did not
See her Neal Nightthis Dept. went into
the Chamber of the Deced this morng about
9 O' Clock when she found he quite dead
this Dept. further saith, that she has been
usually Sick of [..] Morng & this Dept. heard
he being Sick this Morngatbetween 6 & 5
O' Clock to the best of this Depts. Knowledge
this Dept has no reason to believe but she deed
a natural Death
