Informations of Witnesses taken this Ninth
day of January 1793 in the Parish of St.
James Westmr . at the Dwelling house of
William Taylor< no role > the Sign of the King's
Head in Ryley Street Bury Street St.
James's before Anthony Gell< no role > Coroner
for the City and Liberty aforesaid
touching the Death of William Dorand< no role >
then and there lying dead, as follows.

George Werren< no role > a Private in the Cold stream (2d.
Rymer St of Treat Guards being sworn saith
that he is quarted at the Unicorn Public house in
Duke Street St. James's and that on Tuesday that
8th. of Jany instant about 3 in the afternoon
the deceased came there and had half a pint of
Beer, that he had been very ill for 2 or 3 preceeding
days that he went from thence a little after
3 and did not return till between 7 and 8
o'Clock that Evening at which time the Pet
Bay belonging to the 1d. Union Ale house came
in to the Tap Room and said the deceased had
fallen down at the Door whereupon this
Deponent and some offChirman went out
