Informations taken this Twenty
third day of Decr. 1790 at the Parish
of St. Clement Danes within the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of
Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of Sarah Cox< no role > lying dead in
the said Parish LIberty and County

Thomas Palmer< no role > Servant to Robert Graham< no role >
Esqr. at Lincolns Inn New Square in the Parish
of St. Clement Danes Westmr. on his Oath saith
that he slept in Mr. Graham's Chambers< no role > last
Night and that Sarah Cox< no role > the Deced who was
Servant to Mr. Graham slept in another Guard
there Says that between four and five
o'Clock this Morning Dept. was awaked
by the Noice of something falling down
and perceived that it Lightened very
much upon which he went to call
the Deced but had no answer, and was
going down the [..] Garret Stairs he heard some part
of the Chimmeys fall down Says that
he called one of the Porters of Linconls
Inn and Mr. Graham's Clerk and Dept
went into Deced's Room where he
saw a great Quantity of Bricks in the
Room and upon Deced's Bed one of
the Wooden Beams having likewise
fallen upon Deced who was in Bed
Says that he assisted togotremove the
Bricks when He found the Deced lying upon
the Bed, being dead as Dept. believes as
he preceived so Signs of Life in her and
Dept. believes that the Deced was Acciden [..]
killed by the Chimneys falling upon her [..]
there being several Bruised upon her
Body, And Says that the Wind was very
high and that it Thundered and Lightened
very much at the time
