Informations taken this Ninth day
of December 1790 at the Parish of St.
Martin in the Fields within the
Liberty of Westmr . in the County of
Midsex upon an Inquisition touching
the death of John Sinns< no role > lying dead
in the said Parish Liberty and County

William Jefferys< no role > of Strand on the Green
in the Parish of Chiswick Waterman
on his Oath Saith that Yesterday about
Ten o'Clock Dept. brought his Boat down
to Hungerford in the Company of Samuel
Rifle another Waterman and was going
to get the Goods out of his Boat Says
that [..] going to make water by one
of the Craft on the Upperside of the
came way at Hungerford when he
saw the Deced whose Head and upper
part of his Body was under a Barger
the Sterer of the Barge being up
the Cause way, That with his Stuff his
lifted up the Deced's Leg and pulled
him to the Shore at Hungerford in
the Parish of St. Martin in the Fields
Says that the Deced appeared to have
be or two or three days in the River but
Dept saw no Marks of violence upon
the Deced. Says that he Searched to
Deced's Pockets, and therein found a
Razor a Penknife a Snuff Box two Hand
-kerchiefs and one shilling in Silver
